How is this only Medium importance ?

This causes a crash that forces a hard log-out, closing running applications and losing unsaved work.
That is unacceptable for a stable LTS system (Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS).

I support Wes's statement about the importance of the bug. This is a real dealbreaker.

I cannot write any short notes, no unsaved emails, temporary documents, draw temporary images, because I use my OS in constant fear it might break down out of a sudden.
