Bug Description

When performing an OPAC search the spinning icon indicating search in progress is no longer displayed.

I'm getting the spinny when I first perform a search. However, if I perform the same search again, it doesn't come up. My guess was that the search was performing quicker on the 2nd try than it takes to get the spinny icon going.

Kathy's correct about the reason. The spinner does not show up unless the search takes more than two seconds to start rendering the result page. That's an explicit timeout value in the OPAC code.

Adding a note that this appears to happen when jquery is enabled in config.tt2.

I'm not seeing a spinner / progress bar in the 3.8 Bootstrap OPAC either. Our staff would like to see it when loading large lists as well, since they can also take a while.
