Bug Description

When I'm watching some video on you tybe and try to play mp3 file with amarok i get this error: Audio output unavailable device is busy.

I also have this with hardy beta.

I can't use the sound from a flash application and amarok at the same time. And when amarok can't use the sound it says : "Audio output unavailable; the device is busy."

from ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/statusbar.log.0 : "[2008-04-05 15:24] <p>Audio output unavailable; the device is busy.<p>xine parameters: <i></i>"

You need a sound server / mixer to have to or more apps accessing the audio hardware directly.

Gnome's one was esound, now replaced by PulseAudio.
Under KDE, I don't know
Alsa provides DMIX which is tricky to configure

On a Kubuntu install lacking pulseaudio, make sure that neither libflashsupport nor libasound2-plugins is installed.
