Ability to reset dashboard blocks

I Would like to see an feature where users can reset their home/first page to default settings if they have modified it.

Are you meaning the page that has the welcome message and the 'Edit dashboard' link on it?

If so what is needed to be reset?
- The whole page
- Just the welcome message
- Just the 'Latest changes I can view', 'My portfolios' etc blocks on the page

The danger of adding this option is users resetting their homepage by accident.

If you can explain more of what is wanted/required that would be helpful

Hello,

Users should be able to reset all the modifications they have made by themselves on the Dashboard.

This would be a great to use in tandem if administrators would be able to set the dashboard static for everyone like described in here;

In moodle you can reset your own dashboard and it isn't really a problem that someone would do by "accident", you can always double check by making it require two or three yes-clicks or typing RESET before they can do it.

Robert, I think this would only go for the blocks on the dashboard page, i.e. everything below the "Edit dashboard" button as a user doesn't control the top part and the 3 dashboard info buttons can already be resurrected if removed.
