Bug Description

I'm running Ubuntu 17.10 with Wayland enabled. I noticed Java GUI apps running with native look and feel (i.e. Swing based apps with GTK look and feel) do not properly work, i.e. fonts are not displayed properly, windows sometimes do not draw correctly and other problems.

If I switch to X11 all works fine instead.

The Java version is:

java version "1.8.0_152"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_152-b16)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.152-b16, mixed mode)

NetBeans (https://netbeans.org) is such an example, try installing and running it under Wayland and X, and you'll notice the difference. Let me know if you need any more information.
