Microphone headset isn't detected with Intel Skull Canyon NUC

Bug Description

I've also tested this machine with two separate USB Microphone adapters, and they do the same thing really. Super-low volume on the mic. I can only see a bit of a spike if I tap the mic hard.

I can confirm the Headset/Microphone selection screen pops up when plugging the headset in.

This workaround works after a reboot:

I'm using this headset https://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-Stinger-Gaming-Headset-Mobile/dp/B01LRX2DSA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1510612581&sr=8-2&ppw=fresh&keywords=hyperx+gaming+headphones

Can you attach output of `cat /proc/asound/card0/codec\#0` *without* using dell-headset-multi?

Please try the kernel here,

The headset mic should work without using "dell-headset-multi" option.

- Download the deb files in the URL
- Install them via `dpkg -i *.deb`
- Reboot into the newly installed kernel.
