Bug Description
Not sure if this bug was introduced by the upgrade from 17.04 to 17.10, as I am rarely using the terminal in maximized mode.
Issue can be reproduced - happens each time, even after a reboot.

It happens to me too.
I noticed that it happens when I maximize the gnome-terminal window, but not always: right now, I have another gnome-terminal, maximized, with 3 tabs, and the right-click (contextual) menu works well.
I also noticed that, when maximized and "demaximized" again, the right-click menu shows with more space than needed (as shown in the attachment).
