gcstar plugins crashing

This may be related to some of the other search failures that are reported. However, doing some searching suggests there is a bad regex in one particular program. As all of my attempted lookup attempts failed, I then tried to see what plugins were availabe. Using both the CLI and then launching and chekcing the output of the "view plugins" I get the following:

Not really sure what the plugin does, but short of modifying the install, I suspect it may be part of the problem?
