Super + L - Lock screen does not work in Wayland sessions

Ubuntu 17.10 installed. Upgraded from 17.04.
GDM as login manager active.
Gnome Session on wayland in use.
Tried to press Super + L but without any affect. All other shortcuts and keys are working.

Gnome Session on X11 without any issues. Super + L is working.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. Please tell us which version of Ubuntu is still affected by this bug. Please also run this command:

  lspci -kv > lspci.txt

and attach the resulting text file here.

If it's still happening then I'm thinking https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-settings-daemon/-/issues/595 might be related, which some have suggested is specific to AMD.
