Bug Description

I have just upgraded to Ubuntu 17.10, and now when I try to make a selection using Shutter, the whole screen displays a strange pattern with the shutter logo, and the captured image also contains this pattern (see attachment).

I am unable to actually capture any window or desktop image.

I am using Shutter 0.93.1 Rev.1278

This is due to Ubuntu 17.10 switching to Wayland as default, you can switch to the X session in the login screen, if you want to continue using Shutter.
