Bug Description

I am using ubuntu 17.10 (intel i3, 16gb ram ). my mouse doesn't works once I have suspended the pc when i close the lid and reopens it

affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) → gdm3 (Ubuntu)

Does the mouse cursor return after you have entered your password and unlocked it?

yes cursor returns but I am not able to drag it get stuck at one position and doesnot move

Please install 'evtest':

   sudo apt install evtest

and then test your mouse before and after suspending by running:

   sudo evtest

Does evtest still show events after suspend when the cursor is frozen?

Also, do you mean touchpad rather than an external mouse?

well yes I mean touchpad I have not tried with mouse I will do the test and update earlier everything was fine with 17.04

In my case, evtest succeeds before suspend. Then provides no data after suspend. Last line that prints is "Testing ..."

it shows suspend. but I am not sure which option to choose(0-9) when I give test command
