Bug Description
Using the default Gnome color profile, everything looks very dull in Chromium. Just look at the colours of the lettering on www.google.com.
To fix this I have to set:
Settings > Devices > Color > (my monitor) = OFF
now restart Chromium and the color is correct and much more vibrant.
So is it Chromium handling the color profile wrong, or Gnome providing a bad default profile that should never have been enabled by default?

I had the same problem with Chrome in Unity on Ubuntu 16.04 too. And the same solution too - disable the default color profile.
