Bug Description

hi team,

i am using evergreen version 2.11 and trying to integrate with bibliotheca RFID solutions. SIP2 is the protocol used in the system and there is an issue in displaying indian regional languages in the kiosk.

utf-8 char set is configured in both server and kiosk but found non english letters are not displaying properly.

Evergreen version: 2.11.8
OpenSRF version: 2.4.1
PostgreSQL:9.5

sip log details is also mentioned below. in the log, you can see english title is coming in proper format but hindi title is coming different.

Yes, that is a known issue.

You will likely have to upgrade to Evergren 3.0 and the latest SIPServer master.

Otherwise you can try backporting the patches from bug 1542495 and bug 1463943.

we have done backporting and found working. after a week, the same error is coming again. but log says few books are with correct coding.

Now kiosk is going offline for few patrons or showing invalid PIN while log in. (patron id IDA00003 in the log)
