Sound over DisplayPort is not working

I have tested it with linux-image-4.4.0-97-generic and with linux-image-4.10.0-37-generic with the same result, no sound at all. With nvidia-375, sound did work almost flawless (sometimes I did have to switch to console and get back to the graphics console pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 and then Ctrl+Alt+F7).

Fixed on nvidia-387 (from ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa).
