I would like to look into this bug, but I can't figure out how to run an X application from within a chroot.

I've got a hardy chroot on my Debian sid box, but it won't even start:

$ burgerspace
seed = 1196299639
init-level-no = 1
ms-per-frame = 55
burgerspace: engine init error: Unable to open a console terminal
