Can't deactivate repositories using checkbox

In software-properties I can't deactivate repositories using checkbox. If I try to disable repo, checkbox dimmed and nothing happens.

1) Ubuntu 17.10
2) software-properties-gtk 0.96.24.17
3) Repositories deactivated (checkbox not activated)
4) checkbox dimmed and nothing happens. Checkbox still activated

I'm also experiencing this bug, but for me the entire window becomes gray when I using the check box and nothing happens.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I noticed that if I double or triple click the checkbox it begins working.
