Bug Description

Hi

After I upgraded from Xubuntu 17.04 to 17.10, a message is repeating every two minutes: https://pastebin.com/7FA69dme

I am reporting against linux-firmware because it appears to be Wi-Fi related. The system looks like it's working fine, but this message is repeating.

The notebook is a Lenovo Ideapad 310 and it has a QCA9377 wireless + bluetooth card.

My system is nigh unusable now. If I disconnect the wireless, the system becomes very unstable: sudo and gksu stops working, many programs don't open and other problems.

I've attached the dmesg. Now it's at that very unstable state, if something happens to wireless it will become very unstable.

I'm sorry for sending the information in chunks, but it's so unstable there's no way I can do it all at once.

Now I have rebooted and I am using the kernel version 4.10.0-37-generic and there is no error. The problem appears to be with the kernel.

Changing to affect linux package, does not look like a firmware issue.

Looking at what we have applied for the first SRU kernel release for 17.10, there's a patch there already which should fix your problem.
