Ubuntu 17.10 beta, my Wayland used to work now i get this error message

someone recommended last time that this "gnome-shell dying with signal 5, as a result of Xwayland crashing is usually either bug 1505409 or bug 1556601."

But after reading those bugs this does not seem to be the same issue,

I was able to run Wayland till about 2 weeks ago when an update made it crash...

Yes, when Xwayland crashes gnome-shell commits suicide because it doesn't yet know how to survive without Xwayland or how to restart it.

That is what your log shows and that is generally bug 1505409 or bug 1556601. Possibly others too, but they will all have the same fix.
