Bug Description

1) Copy text to clipboard. Select text from current terminal output (this is critical) then shift+ctrl+c to copy.
2) Just to show that it works, shift+ctrl+v to current terminal. Also ctrl+v in some other app... also works.
3) Use any of the methods from here (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5367068/clear-a-terminal-screen-for-real) to clear your terminal, i.e. 'reset' or 'printf "\ec"' or 'printf "\033c"' or 'tput reset'.
4) Now try to paste to current terminal. Doesn't work. Try pasting anywhere else. Also doesn't work. The strangest thing is that my clipboard manager (KDE Plasma, Debian) still shows that this content is on the clipboard, but it's not!

Notes/quirks:
a) If in step 1 you copy text from somewhere other than the current terminal output (i.e. from another app) then the bug does not happen.
b) This bug does NOT occur in Konsole or Yakuake. But it does occur in Tilix.
