Bug Description
Writing something is "angeblich" capable of something, can roughly be translated to
"he said he knows what he's doing, but he was lying".
So the first sentence for the error message should more be like that one:
Der SMTP Server ist so konfiguriert, eine Verbindung über das TLS-Protokoll
auzubauen. Aber ein Verbindungsversuch über TLS ist fehlgeschlagen.
The complete Error Message is this one, by the way:
Der SMTP-Server unterstützt angeblich das TLS-Protokoll, aber ein entsprechender
Verbindungsversuch ist fehlgeschlagen.
Sie können die Verwendung von TLS über das KDE-Kontrollzentrum deaktivieren
(Persönliche Einstellungen -> Verschlüsselung).
I am not aware how should pointing the user to the right place of help be
implemented, but atm it points to a non existing place, he would more need to do
this:
1. Click on Menu bar Item Einstellungen
2. Click on Menu Entry KMail Einrichten
3. In the newly opened window klick on the left hand picture Zugänge
4. Select the Tab Versand on the right side of the window
5. Choose the correct Versand way on the list (The one you wanted to use, most
probably there is just one)
6. Press on the right Button ändern.
7. Reconfigure it here.
I don't want to say this is too complicated, I just don't know how to write it
shorter. Maybe there is the possibility of adding a settings link?
The original is
"Your SMTP server claims to support TLS, but negotiation was unsuccessful.\n"
"You can disable TLS in KDE using the crypto settings module."
The German translation sounds about right for your description and what other German speakers
have told me, if you supply a better translation I'll pass it on upstream.
