We already copy syslog and ubiquity's debug log; I agree we should make sure we have as much debug info as possible after install.

Did the persistent journal get enabled by default? Last I checked, we did not do that and just left the on disk logging to rsyslogd still.

What will the install time journal get us that is not in syslog and ubiquity's debug log? Are there issues that we are having a hard time debugging that the install time journal will fix? I ask as I'm trying to judge the usefulness of fixing this.
