Bug Description
Binary package hint: mailscanner
The mailscanner package from feisty (and presumably gutsy and hardy, and possibly edgy) requires the file /lib/init/vars.sh in order for its init script to work. This file exists starting with Edgy. However, there is no dependency between the two packages.

This particular script is part of 'initscripts' that is dependency of 'ubuntu-minimal' on hardy and intrepid thus will be installed.
