Google Plus website notifications menu not appearing properly

BEHAVIOR
When you go to plus.google.com, log in with your Google account, then click on the notifications icon located at the top-right of the website, there will be an error message saying "There was an error in loading this place. Please Reload the page and try again."

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
For the notifications to load normally as they do on Firefox, Chromium, and Google Chrome.
