Bug Description
In the dialogue 'Align and Distribute (Shift+Ctrl+A)' in Inkscape 0.45 is
'Align baseline anchors of texts vertically'. This works when text is
aligned left but not when text is aligned right. Inkscape should rename the
current button to 'Align baseline anchors of texts vertically to left side'
and add a new one which is called 'Align baseline anchors of texts
vertically to right side', with a similar icon but with a red line on the
right side.
Also 'Align baseline anchors of texts horizontally' should be split into
'Align baseline anchors of texts horizontally to bottom' (the current
implementation) and 'Align baseline anchors of texts horizontally to top'
(an extra implementatio with a red line on top of the text).
Note that this should also work on selections including normal texts and
texts which are rotated 90 degrees.
Implementing this will allow Inkscape users to align texts in more
different ways than is possible at the moment.

A patch which ensures that the align and distribute dialog uses a baseline anchor which depends on the alignment of text has been committed today. So right aligned text will have it's anchor at the right, and will be aligned w.r.t. that anchor. So now we have a single button to align the baseline anchor, and if this is not what the user needs then a plain left or right alignment should be used.
