Printer prints always 5-times copies

I am using raspbian on a raspberry pi 3 and experiencing problems with the printer setup.
The printer is a HP Laserjet 200 Colormfp m276nw.
I installed cups and hplip and hplip-gui.
The printer is recognized and installed fine.
Scanning works without any problems.
But even when I print a test page I get too many copies (5-times).
It makes me crazy.
What can I do?
Is there a new release of hplip? I have installed 3.16.11.
hp-check mentiones that some packages are incompatible or not found, but they are installed and uptodate.

Any help is kindly appreciated.

support for raspberry pi 3 is not there in HPLIP.
