Bug Description
Problem occurred following an upgrade from Ubuntu 16.04 AMD64 to Ubuntu 17.04 AMD 64.
Synopsis:
HPLIP icon displays, however, a menu will not display on click. A small, unpopulated gray tab appears instead. No actions can be initiated through the systray icon.
Problem persists across several desktop themes, does not appear to be related to GTK themes.
HPLIP toolbox functions normally. Nothing unusual in /var/log.

Problem occurs in default Unity desktop. Systray functions normally in Cinnamon desktop.
