import images in clipping boxes

Once it is easier to edit the clipped contents in a clipping object (see
also RFE "[ 1509825 ] Ability to edit mask or clip path" about clipping),
images should be imported _clipped_ by a rectangle.

Not sure what you mean. Do you mean to automatically provide an adjustable
"mask" that's set to display whole image initially and can be altered to
hide parts of the image? Or perhaps you mean how "object to pattern" works
where you can drage to hide parts of image.

However, I'm talking about clipping for the images, not masks :)
I want to get rid of the pattern thingy with images.
