Bug Description
On 3.0:
The Profile Group dropdown allows me to choose a level in the tree other than the bottom level, but it breaks the search. With the default data, I expect that if I choose "Staff" for BR2 then it would search all of the Catalogers, Circulators, etc. but the search results are empty.
Either "Staff" shouldn't be allowed to be chosen, or (better yet) if it is chosen, then it should search all of the types underneath it.
Also, if you choose one of those options, you cannot re-select "Profile Group" from the list - the only way you can get back to it to search across all profile groups is to clear the form.

In one of my test searches, I selected Users from the profile dropdown expecting to get the same number of results that I got when no profile was selected from that menu. My search results went down from 27 (no profile group selected) to 6 (Users selected).
Ideal behavior is for the system to search all users that are members of the selected profile group or any of its children.
I also agree that the inability to re-select the empty option is problematic.
