gnome-mpv freezes when closing with ctrl+q

Bug Description

Full-screen or windowed playing video can't be closed with ctrl+q. It freezes instead. You need several close actions until the Gnome dialog of "Force Quit" appears.

mpv can't be close without killing the mpv process Ubuntu 17.10 running classic gnome shell profile.
