[artful] After killing Google Chrome, X.org crashes

Bug Description
Sometimes (quite often recently) Google Chrome gets stuck on my computer - its not responding at all and when resizing the window there is no repaint.
If I then kill the process (it seems to happen both for TERM and KILL), the Google Chrome windows close and everything seems to work for a some short time (less than a minute) and then I get kicked out of the session.

Hardware: Dell Precision mobile workstation 5520 (Windows model, I couldn't get the Ubuntu version in my country), with Nvidia - but turned off in prime and Xorg is running on the Intel IGD.
