top menu with firefox does not always display File Edit View Tools menu bar

Firefox's main menu that includes the File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help options don't always appear in the top menu panel under Mutiny. Marco vs Compiz does not seem to matter.
It reappeared after a complete sudo apt purge firefox* but after closing it once its gone again.
Firefox 50.x+ has no issue.
Newer Firefox versions loose the menu such as version 56.0b11, Build ID 20170912080501.

After firefox restart, top menu is back.
