Bug Description
It would be useful to have an option in the document
properties to allow working with a bounding box based
on a zero width stroke, just like Visio does. That way
changing the stroke does not change the position and
the size of the shape. This is especially useful in
technical and grid based drawing.

I second this request. It is incredibly frustrating when I am doing
dimensioned drawings and change the stroke width of, say, a 4 in square, to
have it change to 3.813 in or somesuch. I otherwise love Inkscape, but it
is the only vector drawing program I have encountered that works this way.
