Cheese does not use built-in webcam

Bug Description

In Ubuntu 17.10 beta, Cheese does not provide an image from the camera nor does it offer to attach to it in the prefs settings.

Machine: Macbook Pro Retina 13" with a Facetime HD (Broadcom 1570) PCIe camera.
Hardware works under macOS -> Seems software or driver issue.

On a similar Macbook the image comes up immediately (with a Facetime HD camera attached to USB)

This is due to missing facetimehd driver.

I built one according to https://github.com/patjak/bcwc_pcie/wiki/Get-Started
and it works.

However, the image lacks the green channel (thus it is magenta).
Taking pictures works fine (all color channels are captured)

Changed in cheese (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
