Bug Description

After applying the latest update the Software-center now opens but still has a problem.

For the Launch pad, software center, in Ubuntu 17.10 it reports this error when trying to open it.
"Sorry something went wrong GDBus, error: freedesktop.DBus.error. unknown Method: No such
interface` org.gnome.Shell.Extensions on object at path /org/gnome/shell".

Some of the links to the software doesn't work.
Some of the buttons of categories doesn't work.
Updates never show "software to be updated" anymore

Ralph,

It sounds like this bug was from before 17.10 was finished and released. Do you still experience the problem?
