Recipe-generated epubs not showing images on iphone ibooks

In the last few months I've noticed that the images in epub documents created via recipes (at least for New York Review of Books and The Economist) aren't displayed when viewed in iBooks on my iPhone (running latest 10.3.3 release). The images are displayed correctly in iBooks on the Mac, and issues downloaded in the past are ok too.

That sounds like a bug in iOS iBooks. I dont have any iOS devices, so I
cannot be sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's because those
website started adding srcset attributes to the <img> tags. Presumably,
iBooks on iOS doesn't like that. You should report it to Apple.

I have added code to the recipes to remove the srcset attribute since it

Thanks for the quick response. I figured it was something like that; just surprised iOS would be so fragile.
