My touchpad isn't detected either on my Lenovo IdeaPad 320. I've compiled the latest upstream kernel to include Kai-Heng Feng's elan_i2c patches, but it's still not working for me.

This is a duplicate of this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1708852 since you have the ELAN0608 touchpad according to your UdevDb.txt. Your touchpad should work on the latest upstream kernel. Otherwise, follow the bug I linked to.
