Nemo's Open as root function does not work on Wayland

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Ubuntu 17.10.
2. Install nemo package.
3. Click on "Open as Root" in right filemanager panel

4a. Enter sudo password, but nothing happens.
4b. Launch nemo from console and repeat 3, get error message:

Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
Could not parse arguments: Cannot open display:
