Fonts installed as shortcut not showing

Font installed as Shortcut Fonts not showing up in Inkscape but they do in MS Word, Gimp, etc...
These fonts are not in the regular folder (C:\Wiondows\Fonts\) but in a custom folder (other disk in my case) and are installed as a link.
Default fonts (in the original folder) are showing up as well.
