Bug Description

XDG user directories are not being created in Ubuntu 17.10. There are just "Desktop" and "Downloads" directories in my home and they are not even translated on my non-english installation.

Thank you for your bug report. I guess you are using a wayland session? The current script uses Xsession.d which doesn't work under wayland, it looks like fedora added an autostart .desktop to do the job (which they didn't upstream :-(), we should have a look at doing the same

Changed in xdg-user-dirs-gtk (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → High
status: New → Triaged
tags: added: wayland
