gold plated pads dont appear in step export file

or any pads, or part-of-pcb info like silkscreen, vias, traces

It looks so good in t the viewer.

I wonder why this information is lost in step export ?

at least it doesn't show up when imported into Creo, i could try freecad also.

This is by design. Otherwise, the size of the step file would be massive on complex boards. I suppose we could generate the top and bottom layer copper as an option. I will tag this as wishlist. Finding a developer who has time to implement this may be a long shot.
