Problem with git tag release in master repo

Bug Description

Currently, last tag in master for networking-bigswitch is 7.0.0 so it's detected to be in release 7.0.0 but ocata is 10.0.0 so upgrade path is not possible.

Would it be possible to push a pre-release tag in networking-bigswitch as soon as possible so that we can start testing migrations from ocata to pike?, it could be 10.1.0.0b1 or 11.0.0.0b1, for example depends on the planned release for pike (10.1.0 or 11.0.0).

This has been resolved i believe. change was merged around the time this was created [1].
