Guides to Snap to Grid

[Bug Importer]

The guides aren't much use if they can't snap to grid.
A checkbox to disable this feature for those who only
draw dreehand will prevent excessive squabling.

If you could provide comparision information about how other
graphics programs behave it would be helpful in deciding how
to implement your request.

Although we dont want to add options for everything I think
it will be necessary to have an option for this feature.

That doesn't make sense to me. Why don't you use the grid directly for this? I'm closing this bug, it's already quite old. If you still feel some snapping functionality is missing then please create a new report, we'll discuss over there

Fixed as of rev. #21954, so this will make it into our upcoming v0.47 release!
