Bug Description
There are 2 Amazon apps in Ubuntu 17.10's Activities Overview.
This was a temporary workaround for an upgrade issue with Unity 7.
I believe Didier was going to work on this.

Known consequence is that people already transition in artful won't have the launcher appearing yet.
