Reset center point after rotating?

Bug Description

After moving the center of an object and rotating, the
center resets. Maybe this behavior should be
user-configurable (center point stays where you put it)?

please, yes!
if you change the center, it should stick.
reseting it should be an available action.

Now in CVS the center crosshair is not reset after you
modify the selection. It stays where you put it for so long
as you have the object(s) selected. You can however reset it
to center by deselecting and reselecting the objects.
