Bug Description

Updates will usually freeze halfway through installation from the Ubuntu store. Sometimes it also locks up sudo apt-get install and I have to run the configure program. Other times just rebooting the PC will fix the issue.

I agree this is the same as my bug-report #1701340 which you have correctly flagged as duplicate.

I can confirm that mine was the first time I had attempted an upgrade on what was a new-install. Both Ryan's & my machine show "No upgrade log present".

This is my first Ubuntu platform. If you require more info, please tell me what you need. Thanks.

affects: linux-hwe (Ubuntu) → linux (Ubuntu)
