Bug Description
After the lengthy account creation, I don't remember much. I was trying to install console-data, it didn't work, I couldn't remove it cleanly. This went back and forth a few times. Finally it threw a serious error and asked to report to the mothership.
This is within a vmware fusion VM from Mac OS X.

Title: package console-data 2:1.12-5 failed to install/upgrade: package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should reinstall it before attempting a removal
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Such errors are not caused by a bug in the package that failed to install, but rather due to the whole system being in a inconsistent state.
I recommend you ask to a support channel what to do to bring it back to something usable.
