Memory leak in xorg.

Bug Description

Seems that xorg has a memory leak. On 28th day of uptime it consumes 13G of virtualy memory on my PC:

Hm. I have selected "xorg" as affected package, but tracker created bug for "linux" anyways. Sorry for that. Unfortunately, I can't change affected package for some reason.

Hello Volodymyr,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with the xorg package. You made this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu has been updated since then.

I think this is a problem for a lot of people and they were working on it. I am not sure when the solution was to come out. If this is no longer a problem for you personally, could you let us know so that we can close this ticket?

If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug?
Also, have you upgraded to 18.04 yet?

If you have, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 1697929
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Hello gf,

This bug disappeared after one of upgrades. But I'm not certain, what exactly fixed it.
I think, it can be closed now.
