as far as I can tell, this appears to be working. I have copied and pasted your code into a standard Inkscape template file which uses px as the document unit, to get the following svg file. This can be viewed in Inkscape. (You may need to zoom out a bit and perhaps pan a bit to see the image, since it is not centered on the page.)
