What installation media were you using to install Ubuntu? Where did you get it and what steps were you following? Thanks in advance.

SDcard is fine. Loaded per instructions found on web site. Followed wizard instructions during load.

I was able to successfully install by not selecting encrypted home folder. Same media after reboot.

Also, I believe I selected to skip Wi-Fi connection on my successful attempt. Bug report was done on 1st try.

The ubiquity package hook for apport is looking for a syslog file which
would contain information about the installation process in the
following locations '/var/log/installer/', '/var/log/',
'/var/log/upstart'. It'd help me out if someone could tell me where the
syslog file is after booting up and starting an install with this
Raspberry Pi image.

Thanks!
