Not working correctly on Acer Swift 1 with Ubuntu 17.04

The indicator always shows the disabled icon despite the touchpad is enabled. The shortcut to dis/enable the touchpad does not work. Setting up the touchpad is working.

The problem is present in Ubuntu 17.04 and 16.04.2
